Risk Shield 5.0 is by far one of the most exciting versions released by PicNet Pty Ltd. New modules, reporting tool, and enhancements make Risk Shield more powerful than ever.

 

The Emissions Management module plays an important role in allowing organisations to account for the amount of CO2 emitted and the risks associated with it. From these calculations, organisations are able to more effectively mitigate the risks of polluting the environment, penalties from the regulator, and impact on the organisation's reputation.

 

The TRA module allows companies to identify threats, vulnerabilities and risks associated with an asset. This module is highly targetted to IT security and infrastructure security management, specifically for companies that own significant assets.

 

The Dashboard graphically represents the information recorded in Risk Shield. It relies on information currently recorded, and turns extensive information into graphical statistics and charts, assisting users in digesting complicated information. The dashboard is unique for each individual user, and may be configured and customised in many different ways, including risk criteria, number of risks, and even business units.

What's new in Risk Shield® Version 4.2


This release saw Risk Shield take on a whole new approach to Risk Management. After years of discussions with senior risk managers across the world we have implemented a new methodology for Risk Management. Risk Shield now pro-actively encourages user to populate the Risk Register by feeding from all other modules (Adv Risk Analysis, Work Plan, Hazard Register and Incident Management). This new approach will ease the way you record and manage your organisational risks.

Risk Shield now helps your organisation manage its hazards and associated risks.

Need to notify authorities of Incidents? Risk Shield now automates this process by generating any type of form straight from Risk Shield.

Risk Shield now supports totally flexible work flows in the Risk Register and Incident Management module. Managers will now be able to accept or reject any changes to risks or incidents.

Managers are now notified of all actions that have not been actioned by their due date.
A fully flexible notification mechanism was added. Managers can now choose to be notified when any scenario is met. Email information is now much more informative, this allows managers to get a better view of the system without even having to log in.

A complete interface change to enhance user experience. Faster, better and easier to use. That was the motto behind this release of Risk Shield. This helped enhance such functionalities as the Spell Check, Copy/Move, Date/Time handling, etc.

Monte Carlo simulation now supports weighted company structures to give a more accurate representation of your Risk Profile.

Licensed Risk Shield's can now be fully integrated to your Active Directory server facilitating the management of users in large corporations.

Risk Shield now supports CSV file import allowing users to turn their old Excel registers into state of the art Risk Management practices using Risk Shield.

Risk Shield now supports actions independent of a risk or incident allowing for more flexible action management. Also, recurring actions are now handled independently allowing total customisation of a recurrence.

This risk management and compliance software, based on the 4360 Australian/NZ standard, offers user access to:

• A pocket version of the Risk Shield's Risk Register, Hazards, Incident Management and Work Plans modules.
• Single dimensional risk impact assessments.
• Hazards module to identify risks associated with workplace hazards.
• Incidents module to record incidents and create associated risks.
• Work Plans module to identify risks associated to processes and procedures.
